Embark on a complete 4-day journey through the sacred land of Braj Bhoomi. Cover every major temple, sacred kund, holy ghat and divine destination connected with Lord Krishna's leelas — Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana, Nandgaon and Gokul — all in one comprehensive pilgrimage package.
The 4 Days Complete Braj Darshan Tour is the most comprehensive way to experience the entire sacred geography of Braj Bhoomi. This tour goes beyond the standard Mathura-Vrindavan circuit and includes Gokul — the childhood home of Lord Krishna — along with the complete Govardhan parikrama trail, Barsana's Radha Rani Temple, Nandgaon and every major temple in Vrindavan. Ideal for devoted pilgrims who want to cover all 84 kos of Braj in a structured, comfortable and organized manner.
Arrive in Mathura and check in to your hotel or dharamshala. After freshening up begin the most important darshan of the entire Braj Yatra — Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the believed exact birthplace of Lord Krishna. The temple complex includes the main Katra Keshav Dev shrine and a large prayer hall with a deeply devotional morning atmosphere that fills the air with chanting and the scent of incense. After Janmabhoomi proceed to the iconic Dwarkadhish Temple known for its beautifully painted ceilings, ornate stone architecture and vibrant morning aarti. Allow 45 to 60 minutes at each temple for a calm and unhurried experience.
After lunch visit Gita Mandir — a unique temple in Mathura where the complete Bhagavad Gita is inscribed on its marble pillars and walls. Nearby, Birla Mandir offers a beautifully maintained modern temple with peaceful surroundings ideal for quiet reflection. After these visits drive to Gokul, approximately 15 kilometres from Mathura across the Yamuna. Gokul is where infant Krishna was secretly brought by Vasudeva on the night of his birth. Visit Thakurani Ghat where Vasudeva is believed to have crossed the flooded Yamuna and Nand Bhavan in Gokul — the house where baby Krishna was raised by Nanda Maharaj and Yashoda Maiya, now a well-maintained temple with a uniquely intimate devotional atmosphere.
Return to Mathura in the evening for the Yamuna aarti at Vishram Ghat — one of the most spiritually moving rituals in all of Mathura. As darkness falls the ghat comes alive with the warm glow of oil lamps, the sound of conch shells, temple bells and devotional chanting that fills the sacred riverside air. The collective energy of hundreds of devotees gathered on the ghat steps creates a profound and deeply moving spiritual experience. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight rest after a full and fulfilling first day.
After breakfast drive to Vrindavan, approximately 15 kilometres from Mathura. Begin your Vrindavan darshan at the legendary Banke Bihari Temple — one of the most spiritually charged temples in all of India. The unique swinging curtain darshan style here is unlike any other temple experience in Braj and is deeply moving for all devotees. Please note that cameras and mobile phones are not permitted inside Banke Bihari Temple. After Banke Bihari visit the ancient Radha Raman Temple which houses a self-manifested deity and carries a deeply intimate and serene atmosphere. Then visit the mystical Nidhivan — the sacred forest believed to be the nightly site of Krishna's Raas Leela — with a guide sharing the extraordinary legends of this forest.
After a vegetarian lunch visit the historic Govind Dev Ji Temple — one of the oldest and most architecturally significant temples in Vrindavan built in 1590 by Raja Man Singh of Amber. The red sandstone structure is a testament to Braj's rich devotional heritage. After Govind Dev Ji visit the grand ISKCON Vrindavan temple for the afternoon aarti — an energetic and devotionally rich experience with kirtan and beautiful deity darshan. End the afternoon at the magnificent Prem Mandir where the evening illumination after sunset transforms the entire white marble complex into one of the most spectacular sights in all of Vrindavan. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
After breakfast drive to Govardhan, approximately 25 kilometres from Mathura. Govardhan Hill is one of the most sacred sites in the entire Braj region — the hill Lord Krishna lifted on his little finger to protect the people of Braj from Indra's storm. Perform the Govardhan Parikrama — the sacred circumambulation around the base of the hill — as per your comfort and capacity. The full parikrama is approximately 21 kilometres but shorter partial parikramas are also commonly done by pilgrims. Visit Mansi Ganga — the sacred kund at the base of Govardhan — and then proceed to the deeply revered Radha Kund and Shyam Kund, considered among the most sacred water bodies in all of Braj Bhoomi.
Visit Kusum Sarovar — the beautifully restored stepped reservoir near Govardhan surrounded by ornate cenotaphs and considered one of the most picturesque and historically significant spots in the region. After Kusum Sarovar drive to Barsana, approximately 20 kilometres away. The famous Radha Rani Temple — also known as Ladli Lal Temple — sits atop a prominent hill in Barsana and the climb to the top is rewarded with breathtaking views and a deeply devotional darshan. After Barsana drive to the nearby Nandgaon to visit the hilltop Nand Bhavan temple complex — the ancestral home of Nanda Maharaj carrying a warm and personal devotional energy.
On the final day of your complete Braj Yatra begin with an early morning visit to Keshi Ghat in Vrindavan for the peaceful Yamuna darshan and morning atmosphere by the river. If there are any Vrindavan temples you wish to revisit or any that were missed earlier in the tour this morning session allows time for that. Seva Kunj, Rangji Temple or any other specific temples can be visited based on your preferences and remaining time. The morning hours in Vrindavan are especially peaceful and spiritually rich as the city begins its daily devotional rhythm.
After completing all remaining darshans spend the final afternoon in leisurely exploration of the Vrindavan or Mathura local market for Mathura peda, religious souvenirs, idols and prasad items to carry home. Your driver will then drop you comfortably at Mathura railway station, bus stand or any preferred location. If you have arranged a return journey to Delhi or another city the driver will see you off comfortably. This concludes your 4 Days Complete Braj Darshan Tour — the most comprehensive pilgrimage through every major sacred destination connected to Lord Krishna's divine life and leelas across the entire Braj Bhoomi.
Temple timings may change during festivals, special events and local crowd conditions. Banke Bihari Temple and other popular temples may have temporary route restrictions during rush days. Start early from Delhi for a better experience. Package price may vary based on pickup point, vehicle type, travel date and group size.
