Please note that cameras and mobile phones are strictly not permitted inside Banke Bihari Temple. After Banke Bihari, visit the ancient Radha Raman Temple — one of the oldest temples in Vrindavan with a self-manifested deity and an intimate spiritual atmosphere very different from the larger temples. Proceed to ISKCON Vrindavan for the afternoon aarti with energetic kirtan and beautiful deity darshan of Radha Shyamasundar.
Head to Prem Mandir as the sun sets for the spectacular coloured light and fountain show. The entire white marble complex is illuminated in thousands of coloured lights after dark, with detailed carvings of Krishna leelas glowing on every surface — one of the most visually breathtaking experiences in all of Vrindavan. After Prem Mandir, make a final stop at Keshi Ghat on the holy Yamuna for the evening aarti, a serene and spiritually uplifting experience on the riverbanks that brings the first day of your weekend tour to a peaceful and deeply memorable close.
Return to your hotel after the evening aarti for a comfortable overnight stay. Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant or at a clean nearby vegetarian restaurant recommended by your driver. Rest well in preparation for the Sunday morning early aarti darshan — one of the most spiritually rewarding experiences of the entire weekend tour and only possible for guests who have stayed overnight in Vrindavan.
Wake up early on Sunday morning for the Mangala Aarti darshan at Banke Bihari Temple or a peaceful early morning visit to Nidhivan — the sacred forest believed to be the nightly site of Krishna's Raas Leela. The early morning atmosphere in Vrindavan before the crowds arrive is extraordinarily peaceful and spiritually charged, with the sound of temple bells, birds and devotional chanting filling the cool morning air. This early morning darshan experience is something that same-day visitors from Delhi almost never get to experience and is one of the most cherished highlights of the overnight weekend tour.
After the early morning aarti, visit any remaining temples from the Vrindavan circuit including Seva Kunj, Nidhivan if not visited earlier, Radha Damodara Temple or the 64 Khamba area. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and you will reach Delhi comfortably by 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, leaving your Sunday evening entirely free.
