Your same day Braj Darshan Tour begins with a comfortable and punctual pickup from your hotel, dharamshala, railway station or any preferred location in Mathura or nearby areas. The driver will arrive on time with a clean and fully air conditioned vehicle. Starting between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM gives you enough time to complete the full Braj circuit covering Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan comfortably within the day. Please carry comfortable footwear suitable for temple floors and light refreshments for the journey between destinations.

Mathura – Krishna Janmabhoomi & Dwarkadhish Temple

Begin your Braj darshan at the most sacred site in the entire region — Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the believed birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura. The temple complex includes the main Katra Keshav Dev shrine and a large prayer hall with a deeply devotional morning atmosphere. After darshan at Janmabhoomi, proceed to the iconic Dwarkadhish Temple known for its beautifully painted ceilings, ornate stone architecture and vibrant morning aarti. Allow around 30 minutes at each temple. A short walk to Vishram Ghat on the holy Yamuna is also recommended before leaving Mathura.

Vrindavan – Banke Bihari Temple & Nidhivan

Drive from Mathura to Vrindavan, approximately 15 kilometres away. Begin your Vrindavan darshan at the legendary Banke Bihari Temple, one of the most spiritually charged temples in the entire Braj region. The unique curtain darshan style here is unlike any other temple experience in India. Please note that cameras and mobile phones are strictly not allowed inside Banke Bihari Temple. After Banke Bihari, visit the mystical Nidhivan — the sacred forest believed to be the nightly site of Krishna's Raas Leela. The forest has a unique spiritual atmosphere and a resident guide shares the fascinating legends connected to this extraordinary place.

ISKCON Vrindavan & Lunch Break

Visit the grand ISKCON Vrindavan temple, officially known as the Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir. The temple complex features beautifully carved white marble architecture, well-maintained gardens and a deeply devotional atmosphere. The midday aarti here is a moving and energetic experience with kirtan and beautiful deity darshan. After the ISKCON visit, take a comfortable lunch break at a clean vegetarian restaurant nearby. Your driver will suggest a reliable local option serving fresh North Indian vegetarian meals.

Govardhan Hill – Manasi Ganga & Kusum Sarovar

Drive from Vrindavan to Govardhan, approximately 25 kilometres away. Govardhan Hill is one of the most sacred sites in the entire Braj region and is believed to be the hill that Lord Krishna lifted on his little finger to protect the people of Braj from Indra's storm. Visit Manasi Ganga, the sacred kund associated with Krishna at the base of Govardhan, and the beautiful Kusum Sarovar — a stunning stepped reservoir surrounded by ornate cenotaphs that is one of the most picturesque spots in all of Braj. A short parikrama stretch around the hill can also be done if time permits.

Prem Mandir Evening Visit & Keshi Ghat Aarti

Return to Vrindavan for the evening visit to Prem Mandir, a breathtaking white marble temple dedicated to Radha Krishna. The detailed marble carvings depicting Krishna leelas are remarkable even in daylight. After sunset the entire complex is illuminated in thousands of coloured lights making it one of the most spectacular and photogenic experiences in all of Vrindavan. After Prem Mandir, make a final stop at Keshi Ghat on the holy Yamuna for the evening aarti — a peaceful and spiritually moving experience on the banks of the sacred river to conclude your Braj darshan.

Tour Completion & Drop Service

After completing the full Braj circuit covering Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan, your driver will drop you comfortably at your hotel, dharamshala, railway station or bus stand. The driver will assist with your belongings and ensure a smooth and pleasant end to your same day Braj Darshan Tour. If you wish to extend the tour or add any additional stops the following day, we can arrange that as well.

The Braj Darshan Tour can be done throughout the year. However the best time is between October and March when the weather is pleasant and comfortable for sightseeing. The monsoon months of July and August are also spiritually vibrant especially around Janmashtami and Radhashtami. Avoid peak summer months of May and June as temperatures can be very high in the region.

Yes, Barsana and Nandgaon can be added to the itinerary as optional stops. Barsana is the birthplace of Radha Rani and is home to the famous Radha Rani Temple on a hilltop. Nandgaon is the village of Nanda Baba where Krishna spent his childhood. Adding both places will extend the tour duration by 2 to 3 hours and may affect the overall route timing.

Most temples in Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan do not charge entry fees for darshan. However some special darshan or VIP queue options at certain temples may have a nominal charge payable separately. Entry to Govardhan Hill and its kunds is free. Any personal expenses, guide fees or special entry charges are not included in the package price.
