Day 1 – Morning

Pickup from Delhi & Arrival in Mathura

Early morning pickup from Delhi, Noida or Gurgaon and comfortable AC cab journey to Mathura. The drive is approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival in Mathura check into your hotel located conveniently near major temples. Freshen up and prepare for the day's sightseeing and celebrations.

Day 1 – Afternoon

Krishna Janmabhoomi & Mathura Temple Darshan

Visit the most sacred Krishna Janmabhoomi — the believed exact birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura. The temple complex is beautifully decorated for Janmashtami with flowers, lights and special preparations. Take reverent darshan at the main Katra Keshav Dev shrine and the large prayer hall filled with devotional energy. Visit nearby Dwarkadhish Temple famous for its ornate architecture and vibrant morning aarti atmosphere.

Day 1 – Evening

Vishram Ghat Yamuna Aarti & Mathura Evening

Experience the peaceful evening aarti at Vishram Ghat on the holy Yamuna river in Mathura. The riverside ghat is beautifully decorated for Janmashtami with oil lamps, flowers and devotional chanting filling the air. After breakfast drive to Vrindavan approximately 15 kilometres from Mathura. Begin the complete Vrindavan temple circuit starting with the legendary Banke Bihari Temple — one of the most spiritually significant temples in Vrindavan. The unique darshan experience and special Janmashtami preparations are deeply moving. Take darshan and participate in the temple celebrations.

Day 2 – Morning/Afternoon

Vrindavan Temples – Prem Mandir, Radha Raman, ISKCON

Continue visiting major Vrindavan temples during Janmashtami celebrations. Visit the magnificent Prem Mandir — the white marble masterpiece beautifully decorated with lights and flowers for the festival. Day 2 – Afternoon

Day 2 – Late Night/Midnight

Grand Midnight Janmashtami Celebration in Vrindavan

This is the most spiritually significant moment of the entire Janmashtami tour. Proceed to a major Vrindavan temple at night to witness the grand midnight Janmashtami celebration. The temple is elaborately decorated with flowers, lights and religious ornaments. As the midnight hour approaches, the entire temple is filled with thousands of devotees in prayer and meditation. At the exact moment of Krishna's birth, the main aarti is performed with incredible devotional fervor, conch shells, temple bells, kirtan and spiritual chanting creating an unforgettable sacred experience.

Day 3 – Morning

Govardhan Hill & Sacred Kunds

After the midnight celebration rest briefly and then proceed to Govardhan — the sacred mountain approximately 25 kilometres from Mathura. Govardhan Hill is where Lord Krishna lifted the mountain on his finger to protect Braj. Visit Govardhan Hill and take darshan. Visit the sacred kunds including Radha Kund — considered the most sacred water body in Braj. Visit Shyam Kund, Mansi Ganga and Kusum Sarovar on the Govardhan circuit.

Day 3 – Late Morning/Afternoon

Keshi Ghat Evening Aarti & Return Journey

Visit Keshi Ghat in Vrindavan for a peaceful riverside experience and darshan of the holy Yamuna. Experience the evening aarti at Keshi Ghat if time permits. After completing all Janmashtami darshans and celebrations begin the return journey.
